My Adam Is Sleeping!!!!!

My Adam is Sleeping!!!!!!! First I have to shout out Heather Lindsey for this one!  Genesis 2 vs 18-21-23 18 Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.” 21 So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that place. 22 The Lord God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man. 23 The man said, “ This is now bone of my bones, And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man.” Ok so I'm guessing this scripture is quite familiar to many of us. But as I grow in the Lord I realize that I can read something and it will take on a new meaning. Isn't that awesome? Well after listening to Heather Lindseys PodCast " How to be a Woman After Gods Heart"  I went back and revisited this verse in my quite time.  She brought a whole new prospective to it for me. Eve was created!  "She was not made out of his head to surpass him, nor from his feet to be trampled on, but from his side to be equal to him, and near his heart to be dear to him." She was prepared perfectly with a purpose and presented to Adam.  So this leads me to believe that as God works in my life and prepares me. When I'm ready I will be presented to my Adam. So in the mean time He's Asleep!  Isn't that amazing!  Maybe I'm corny and I don't care, I'm excited by that.  And it just confirms even more for me not to go ahead of God.  Ladies we can't go waking up just any old Adam. And attempting to make it something it's not.  Young women of Jerusalem, swear to me that you will not awaken love or arouse love before its proper time! << Song of Solomon 8:4 >> If you are with some one and you can't identify the purpose in your union, or you have to use words like Sorta Kinda to describe your mate. That's not Your Adam! That's A Random.  Your Adam won't be a sorta kinda type of man. First name Luke last name Warm!  Almost Doesn't Count!!!!!  If you are passionate in your walk with Christ your Adam will be the same way. And you will compliment each other.  Don't ignore the signs of a Random. And we have all been there. But I've come to the conclusion that Eve didn't have to do anything to get Adam. So neither will I. When Adam awoke he recognized Eve as His wife. She didn't have to chase him, stalk social media, give him her body, or anything that would take her heart from Christ.  My Adam is Sleeping!! So I will wait............. Like the watchman waits for the morning

    When I removed the toxic sludge of toxic people from my life all my stress and anxiety related illnesses abated or were tremendously reduced. In fact I had an ulcer that literally healed (true fact).

    The toxic sludge of people is akin to the BP Oil Spill of 2010 which destroyed and is continuing to destroy the wetlands by choking out the life of native plants, fish, animals,and amphibians of the Gulf.

    Toxic People and their Toxic Ways can be to your detriment. People clean your lakes, your ponds, and your oceans of toxic sludge bearing people.

The Lost Tribe Of REAL Woman

I have touched on this topic in the past, and due to current events felt the need to revisit it. In the year 2011 I have come across many situations that have made me ask the question, "where are all the real women?" In a time downtrodden with the insurgence of reality television. The images of Real Women doing Real things are few and far in between. It seems as society has embraced the images of women fighting and gossiping and crabbing* each other as the norm. But did I miss the memo or something? I wasn't aware that this was the way to carry yourself as a woman, a mother, a sista, a friend...ect. Since when did it become ok to not be happy with yourself so you drag down every and anyone around you? Quoting Basketball Wives, Love & Hip Hop, and Nicki Minaj like its sacred grail.
