 Soooo Ive been gone and I do sincerely apologize for my hiatus but life is for the living.....
And the living is what inspires this Blog....

 Anyhoo 
Lets chat shall we....
Soooo Im saved now what????

 Im in church, Im on ministry, Im growing in my studies of the Word, Ive dropped the dead weight physically and literally( 35lbs to date and a fruitless relationship)

 Ive lost some friends Ive gained some Family in Christ (Abba and Pinky Promise Love Yall)

 Heres the but....shouldnt it be easier now???
Yeah right! 
If it was easy everybody would be saved!!!!! Its that simple.


To have ppl shun you for what you stand firm on? To have ppl question your faith, your relationship with God, call it fake and they dont even know you personally? 
To lose your best friend (so-called), your relationship, your own mother, other miscellaneous friends? 

I was put in a position where i could only turn to GOD. Nobody was left.And thats exactly where he wanted me, seeking His face His council His approval His Love His friendship.....
He removed all distractions, and when I say all I mean all!!!!
Sometimes He needs you in that quite place to hear Him. Truly HEAR HIM.
Dont allow the Noise of the world to Drown out the whisper of God 
Cause sorry contrary to popular opinion He isnt gonna boom thunder, and yell to get your attention!

 Over the course of this year and as I reflect on the year to come I know Im not the Shakira of months gone by.
And yes ppl see me and i get the compliments on the weightloss and thats great but i have changed more than just physically.
To truly evolve we must change Mind Body And Spirit 
Free your mind and the rest will follow isnt just a song lyric its Truth! 
Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks......Whats on your mind is on your heart, and you then begin to speak these things over your life and the lives of others. Good Bad or indifferent. 
Whats on your mind?????

Colossians 3:8 But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips
Change has to come from the inside. Cause you can get down as many sizes as you want, but if you still carry a depressed defeated ungrateful hateful gossiping backbiting jealous evil spirit it wont matter one bit!

 Im an Imperfect Girl serving a Perfect God! 
I die daily to self 
Shedding the dead skin along the way because the new me cant fit that mold anymore.

 ByTheWay.....Some extra food for the soul....what examples are you giving your kids???? do the watch you drinking and partying, cussing, bad mouthing others, neck rolling, popping off???? Sound familar? 
Well heres the example i gave my kids...I interviewed for a recently, and was very nervous leaving the house running late the whole nine the enemy was messing i tell you, and I asked my kids to wish me luck. My first surprise my son Jordan say " we dont do luck we are blessed" That stuck with me all thru the interview.....The next day I told my kids i was waiting for a call back I pray I get it. 
When I picked my baby Jaden up from school he asked " did they call? cause I prayed for you at Lunchtime so I Know you got the job God told me" Talk about Revelation!!!! Out of the mouths of Babes...Childlike Unwavering Faith! Hes 10! And had No Doubt that GOD was Gonna Move on his behalf for me. Prayer Yall!!!!
What examples are you showing your kids????
Set the standard. 
Oh and I Got the Job :)

The Lost Tribe Of REAL Woman

I have touched on this topic in the past, and due to current events felt the need to revisit it. In the year 2011 I have come across many situations that have made me ask the question, "where are all the real women?" In a time downtrodden with the insurgence of reality television. The images of Real Women doing Real things are few and far in between. It seems as society has embraced the images of women fighting and gossiping and crabbing* each other as the norm. But did I miss the memo or something? I wasn't aware that this was the way to carry yourself as a woman, a mother, a sista, a friend...ect. Since when did it become ok to not be happy with yourself so you drag down every and anyone around you? Quoting Basketball Wives, Love & Hip Hop, and Nicki Minaj like its sacred grail. Catchy one liners for tee shirts is not what life should be made of. There was a time when a Woman could compliment another Woman not knowing her personally, but just out of respect...
