Change!!!!!

A wonderful change has come over me......

He changed my life complete and now I sit, I sit at His feet. To do what must be done I'm gonna work, and work until my savior comes......

This post may come off a bit different than my usual, but Lords will it blesses someone.

As you all know I'm still new in my walk with Christ and to say I was met with Great opposition along the way, by far would be an understatement. 

Now if I were a different person, I would have cracked under the pressure! But God said it, I believe it?  So the Nay-Sayers motivate me to the fullest. 

But my heart truly goes out to those who choose to make changes in their lives whether to walk with God, stop drinking, stop smoking, stop cursing,  stop having sex,go back to school. 

Whatever!

And to have to fight your own demons within, And a pack of crabs. Yea I said it crabs! 

Like Crabs in A Bucket....

Let's look to the Urban Dictionary shall we 

Crab mentality, sometimes referred to as crabs in the bucket, describes a way of thinking best described by the phrase "if I can't have it, neither can you." The metaphor refers to a pot of crabs. Individually, the crabs could easily escape from the pot, but instead, they grab at each other in a useless "king of the hill" competition which prevents any from escaping and ensures their collective demise.[1][2] The analogy in human behavior is that of a group that will attempt to "pull down" (negate or diminish the importance of) any member who achieves success beyond the others, out of envy,[3] conspiracy or competitive feelings.

This term is broadly associated with short-sighted, non-constructive thinking rather than a unified, long-term, constructive mentality. It is also often used colloquially in reference to individuals or communities attempting to "escape" a so-called "underprivileged life", but kept from doing so by others attempting to ride upon their coat-tails or those who simply resent their success.[4]

So really? This is what we are doing? In 2012. 

For the life of me I can't understand the need for a person to judge or criticize another person for their choices or actions. 

And if the person or people doing the judging are or is a loved one or family member it makes it all the worse

Because if you are close to the person you more than likely know what they have been through or are currently going through. To have some sort of empathy for the persons choice.  So to be that selfish and knock them down when trying to get back up!

What exactly do you gain by that? Does it make you feel better? Are you mad cause you didn't think to do it first? Scared their going to succeed at what they are trying to accomplish and leave you behind? 

What a wonderful World it would be if people chose to spend their time building others up, rather than tearing them down. 

Let's take it to the Word shall we......

Ephesians 4:29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

Ephesians 5:4 Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.

Matthew 12:34 You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks.

Out of the abundance (the overflowings) of the heart - Wicked words and sinful actions may be considered as the overflowings of a heart that is more than full of the spirit of wickedness; and holy words and righteous deeds may be considered as the overflowings of a heart that is filled with the Holy Spirit, and running over with love to God and man.

 As the bad fruit of a tree was the proper effect of its "nature," so were their words about His and His works the proper effect of their nature. The "abundance" or fullness of the "heart" produced the words of the lips.

Matthew 12:35 The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.

The heart is the fountain, words are the streams. A troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring, must send forth muddy and unpleasant streams. Nothing but the salt of grace, cast into the spring, will heal the waters, season the speech, and purify the corrupt communication. An evil man has an evil treasure in his heart, and out of it brings forth evil things. Lusts and corruptions, dwelling and reigning in the heart, are an evil treasure, out of which the sinner brings forth bad words and actions, to dishonour God, and hurt others. Let us keep constant watch over ourselves, that we may speak words agreeable to the Christian character.

SideNote: Ain't Gods Word Awesome!!! There's a scripture for Everything! Everything? Everything. 

Ok so after reading and meditating on this I have come to this. People who choose to hate and belittle and knock down others who are attempting positive changes in their lives, are consumed by negative spirit. Granted they may not be nasty and say evil things all the time, every now an again they put on a form of positive spirit. But one wrong thing or something not benefiting to them will change them right back to who they have always been. 

It all starts with a seed. Seeds planted from childhood by parents, guardians whomever. Seeds being planted right now, thru social interactions(yourfriends)television, movies,music and the media.

Those seeds turn into thoughts first because you dwell on what you've just seen or heard.

 "The passage of an impure thought through the mind leaves pollution behind it;" the expression of such a thought deepens the pollution on the soul, and corrupts others. 

Thoughts become words that become actions 

The power of life and death are in the tongue. We speak things into our lives and over our situations and circumstances.

So I say to you if your reading this and any part of it sounds like you or someone you know, Please do a check of your heart your mind and your spirit 

What seeds are being planted. 

You have to guard these....

We are so fast to buy fancy water and food and clothing to feed and clothe these bodies we leave behind........

What are you feeding your spirit?!? The Spirit that ultimately goes to be with the Father? 

Are you feasting on the word of God or societies Garbage? 

Even for those who don't read the bible, do you at least read self help books/blogs/positive music?These are the first in small steps to seeing the light. 

What's rests in your spirit and heart is what comes  out of your mouth! 

So if your a fool full of foolishness that's what you speak 

If your a Hater full of negativity that's what you speak

The list goes on.

What's in your heart? Really? Honestly? Ask God to show you whats really there. 

Many will be surprised. 

Because you can only put on a form of for so long......

The Devil doesn't want you to realize what's truly going on. But know this God isn't the author of confusion, negativity, lies, self hatred any of that. So if your having these types of thoughts and these are the seeds that you see growing.....

2 Corinthians 10:5

5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Cast down Imaginations! Exactly the Devil operates on F.E.A.R. False Evidence Appearing Real ! 

Shut Him Down! He tells nothing but lies, and uses your imagination to trap you in fear and bondage. 

Set yourself free!!!!! The Word is your weapon Your Praise is your weapon because the Lord inhabits the praises of His people

I know it's easier said than down. Because when you decide to come into The Light, you now become the target.

But there's no Blessing without a Battle. And anything worth having is worth fighting for. 

Or take the easy way and stay comfortable among the crabs.....good luck with that.

When I began to feed my  spirit the truth He changed the way I see and literally became my visine 

Just to show me that without a drop of him I burn 

He showed me that I was different, meant to Stand Out and be Out Standing 

So I'd rather be an Out Cast now then Cast Out later 

Never be so obsessed with image that you forget whose your made in

When God shapes your mind you choose virtue over sin 

And start feeling like a square despite the circle that your in 

If your tired of trying to fit in to societies garbage mentality 

Then use this world as your dressing room 

And Change!
